I am a young but spiritually strong woman from Taiwan, living with my husband and two cats in the San Francisco Bay Area for several years.
I was born and grew up in Taipei City; during the summer months, I stayed with my grandparents in Nantou and enjoyed a fabulous time in the countryside. At that time, I learned how to speak Taiwanese, also known as Hokkien, a dialect that my family usually uses for conversation. While I speak Mandarin most of the time, my parents supported me in learning English and Japanese at a young age.
Learning different languages helped me broaden my horizons and learn about this world from different perspectives. I keep learning new languages to make my heart open to others’ voices, listen actively and embrace people from a variety of cultures and backgrounds.
Currently I work as an eLearning Developer for a retail company as well as other organizations who have eLearning design and development projects. I’m grateful that I have a chance to work in the field I am passionate about, supporting my client organizations to achieve their learning needs and business goals.
