CONSULTANT

I am a cisgendered, two-spirit, African-American (descendant of chattel slavery) human answering to all pronouns. I am a baby-boomer, deeply spiritual, radically inclusive, Buddhist-Christian.

I grew up in Compton, CA and have since lived in multiple urban and rural settings across the USA. I currently live in Santa Fe County, NM.

I live with depression which may be considered a disability, but I rather see it as a lens amongst many other lenses that I use to engage and make meaning of the world around me.

The experiences I have had across cultures, along with my education and training have provided a rich background for me to feel seated and grounded in this work for the long-bridge and the long-term. My deepest convictions are rooted in conflict transformation work, conflict mediation and cultivating spaces for belonging. In addition to my work in the DEI&B space, I worked many years in the field of mental health, social services where I witnessed clients experiencing unimaginable levels of pain and suffering. All of which could be mitigated by more fair and equitable systems within our homes, businesses, communities, nations, and the world at large. Their pain, our pain drives my desire to see a happier, healthier, and more peaceful planet. I have found an abundance of purpose through my pain.
